Vintage Frontalini 120 bass accordion made in Italy probably in the 1950s or 1960s. This is one of the neatest little accordions that we have ever seen, right down to the case with rivets!
IT IS FOR A CHILD OR SMALL ADULT. The keyboard measures 14 ½ treble key to key edge. The key width is 9/16. Very even keys (see photo). The accordion width is 15. It weighs a mere 14.2 pounds. Both the bass and treble sections play in tune and all keys are working.
The case is really neat with the rivets. It weighs only 4 ½ pounds and is made of a very strong fiberboard material. It has 4 latches, 2 on the sides and 2 spring loaded flip-up latches in the front. The springs are still super strong and they really flip up quickly when released! There is some tarnish on the case metal parts (see photo). Good shoulder straps and wrist strap.
The adjuster works very smoothly. Two of the feet have small cracks (see photos). Slight tarnish on the bellows latches. We have never seen an accordion this small and of this quality in a smaller accordion.Buyers must have at least 5 Positive Feedbacks.
